Del Piero Biography

Alessandro was born in Conegliano, to Bruna, a housekeeper and Gino Del Piero, who was an electrician. Along with his brother Stefano, the family lived at a rural home. He would often play football in the backyard with two friends, Nelso and Pierpaolo. The three of them wanted to become footballers, but only Alessandro would eventually manage to do so.

While growing up, Del Piero recalls that as a youngster there was never any money for travelling abroad and that he wanted to be a lorry driver so he could see places. Later, as a professional football player he was eventually able to travel all around the world.

Juve the Grandest Team of Italian football

Juventus were founded as Sport Club Juventus in late 1897 by pupils from the Massimo D' Azeglio Lyceum school in Turin, but were renamed as Football Club Juventus two years later. The club joined the Italian Football Championship during 1900, wearing their original pink and black kit. Juventus first won the league championship in 1905 while playing at their Velodromo Umberto I ground and wearing their famous black and white stripes.

Juventus is the most successful team in the history of Italian football. Overall, the club have won 51 official trophies, more than any other Italian team; 40 in Italy, which is also a record, and 11 in European and world competitions. The Old Lady is the third most successful club in Europe and the sixth in the world with the most international titles officially recognized by one of the six continental football confederations and FIFA.

The club was the first Italian and Southern European side to have won the UEFA Cup. In 1985, Juventus, the only team in the world to have won all official international cups and championships (which includes all official European competitions and the Intercontinental Cup), became the first club in the history of the European football to have won all three major UEFA competitions.
Finally but not least, some of the greatest football players of all times have constituted the team such as Platini, Zidane, Del Piero ... Just watch the video :)
